RISE Furnished Stays (“we,” “us,” “our”) is an owner-operated host of furnished monthly rentals in South Austin, Texas. This policy applies to information collected through this direct-booking website and the booking process it supports.

02 What we collect

We only collect what we need to take a booking and host your stay:

• Contact details — your full name, phone number, and email address, entered at checkout.
• Booking details — the home you select, your check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, and any pets.
• Stay context — information you choose to share about the purpose of your stay or special requests.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and the last digits/card brand, but we never see or store your full card number.
• Messages — anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
• Basic technical data — standard server and analytics information such as approximate location, device, and pages viewed, used to keep the site working and improve it.

03 How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

• Confirm and manage your reservation and process payments and any monthly installments.
• Send stay-related messages, such as booking confirmations, the lease agreement, check-in instructions, and our Austin guidebook.
• Communicate with you before, during, and after your stay, and respond to questions or requests.
• Check availability and prevent double-bookings across our homes.
• Keep records required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes.
• Maintain the security of the site and protect against fraud or misuse.

04 Payments & Stripe

Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. When you pay, your card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout and are stored by Stripe. For recurring monthly installments, Stripe securely stores your payment method so charges can run automatically on their due dates. Stripe’s handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.

05 When we share information

We share your information only as needed to host your stay, and only with:

• Service providers — such as Stripe for payments, our email provider for confirmations and lease documents, and hosting/analytics tools that run the site.
• Airbnb — to keep our calendars in sync and prevent double-bookings. Only the dates of a stay are disclosed; no personal guest details are shared.
• Legal and safety — if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our guests, our homes, or others.

These providers may only use your information to perform services for us, not for their own purposes.

06 How long we keep it

We keep booking and guest records for as long as needed to host your stay and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligation. Casual inquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for a shorter period. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

07 Your choices & rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we are required to keep. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the GDPR. To make a request, just email us.
